BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 6th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing , Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in  Upper Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and  Eastern Shan  States

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Moderate monsoon.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 6th July 2024:    Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 100%.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 6th July 2024:         One or two rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 100%.

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 6th July 2024:     Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, widespread in Yangon Region and scattered in Mandalay Region.
