BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 4th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States and fairly widespread in Magway Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Nayptitaw, Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayayarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
