BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 3rd July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and (Northern and Easter) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
