BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 02nd July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kachin, Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Chin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
