BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 01st July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing ,Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Tanintharyi Region and (Northern and Southern )Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing , Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin,Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.
