BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is Moderate voer the Andaman Sea and strong over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th June 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Region and Shan, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
