BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13thJune 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 40 mph. Wave height will be about 8-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
