BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10thJune 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw,Upper Sagaing ,Bago Regions and Kachin ,Kayah States, fairly widespread in Yangon,Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon State.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with moderate to rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
