BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7thJune 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be  in scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin ,Northern  Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of  isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine,Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin,  Rakhine, Mon States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 7th June 2024: One or two rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 100%.
