SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Magway Region, scattered in Mon State and isolated in Bago Region and Rakhine State with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 6°C above May average temperature in Southern Shan State, 3°C to 4°C above May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan State, 2°C above May average temperatures in Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and 2°C below May average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, 3°C to 4°C below May average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin state and 5°C below May average temperature in Kachin State and about May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were observed 43.8°C in Minbu, 43.7°C in Magway, 43.0°C in Pyay, 42.9°C in Aunglan, 42.8°C in Taungdwingyi, 41.6°C in Zaung Tu, 41.5°C in Yamethin, 41.4°C in Hinthada and 41.3°C each in Chauk, Tharrawady and Tada U(Aviation-Met) on 2-5-2024. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.01 inches in Naypyitaw (Zayarthiri), 1.97 inches in Taunggu, 1.12 inches in Amarapura, 1.05 inches in Lashio, 1.02 inches in Kalay, 0.99 inch in Naypyitaw (Dekkhinathiri), 0.94 inch each in Putao and Sagaing, 0.91 inch in Patheingyi, 0.87 inch in Machanbaw and 0.79 inch each in Hakha, Pyinmana.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

THE CONDITION OFCUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Shan, Chin States.The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
