SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Ayeyarwady Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Chin States, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Yamethin, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi and Pyay and (39°C) each in Monywa, Tatkon, Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Ann, Taunggu, Shwekyin and Ngathaichaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th March 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
