BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th March 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and  partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 18th March 2024:               Generally fair weather.
