SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) below February average temperature in Yangon Region and (2°C) above February average temperature in Magway Region and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (6°C) in Heho and (7°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in North and South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th February 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Northern Shan, Chin States.
