SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon Region and Eastern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (5°C) each in Kyaukmae and Mogoke and (6°C) each in Namsam(Southern Shan), Heho, Mongyang, Tiddim, Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was (0.43) inch in Kungyangon.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North and Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th February 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Kachin State.
