SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below February average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (4°C) Mongyang, (5°C) each in Kyaukmae and Tiddim and (6°C) each in Namsam(Southern Shan), Falam and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Andaman Sea, partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th February 2024: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States .
