SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) below February average temperature in Bago Region and (3°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) each in Heho and Mongyang, (4°C) in Hakha, (5°C) each in Kyaukmae, Namsam(Southern Shan), Pinlaung, Kengtung, Falam and Pyinoolwin and (6°C) in Loilin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were (0.12) inch in Machanbaw and (0.04) inch in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd February 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuations of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
