BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, North Bay and Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 22nd January 2024:  Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions  and Northern Shan, Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
