BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th January 2024:  Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Generally  fair  weather in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 18thJanuary 2024: Generally fair weather.
