BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 17th January 2024:  Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Shan State and isolated in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).  Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan State.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 17thJanuary 2024:             Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (80%).
