SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Mon States, (3°C) above December average temperatures in (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha and (6°C) each in Putao, Mongyang, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd December 2023: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
