SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperature in Northern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) to (6°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Southern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and State. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Tiddim, (8°C) in Pyinoolwin and (9°C) in Matupi. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls recorded were (1.89) inches in Kungyangon, (0.60) inch in Thabaung, (0.56) inch in Phyarpon and (0.40) inch in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th December 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
