BAY INFERENCE : According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression during next (24) hrs. It would intensify gradually into a Cyclonic Storm over Southwest Bay of Bengal on (3.12.2023). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st November 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayin States, scattered in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-6) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan State.
