BAY INFERENCE : According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea still presists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on (30.11.2023). Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over Southwest Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal on (2.12.2023).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th November 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States and scattered in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast and (4-6) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan, Chin States.
