SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (07°C) in Tiddim and (09°C) each in Kyaukmae, Loilin, Tongzan and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (2.04) inches in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malacca Strait. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on (29.11.2023).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and a few cloudy to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th November 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
