SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and (3°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan, Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) each in Hakha and Tiddim, (09°C) each in Kyaukmae, Tongzan and Mogoke and (10°C) each in Putao, Falam and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area may form over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal on (27.11.2023). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on (29.11.2023). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th November 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
