SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) below November average temperature in Taninthayi Region, and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Southern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Hakha, (9°C) in Tiddim and (10°C) in Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (7.25) inches in Kyauktaw, (4.76) inches in Ponnagyun, (4.36) inches in Htilin, (4.28) inches each in Myauk U and Myebon, (4.24) inches in Minbya, (4.21) inches in Buthidaung, (3.38) inches each in Yeu and Mogoke and (3.23) inches in Kyaukpyu.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th November 2023: Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayin and Mon States. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
