SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Mon State and (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Shan, Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Hakha, (10°C) each in Putao and Tiddim and (12°C) each in Machanbaw and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.58) inches in Coco Island, (0.67) inch in Paung and (0.47) inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman-Nicobar Islands still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over the West Central Bay of Bengal on (15.11.2023). Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a deep depression over the West Central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Coast on (16.11.2023). Thereafter, it is likely recurve North-Northeastwards and reach Northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast on (17.11.2023).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th November 2023: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.
