SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Yangon Region and isolated in Ayeyarwady Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw and (Eastern)Shan, Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (8°C) in Tiddim and (10°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.20) inches in Myeik, (1.14) inches in Kungyangon, (0.51) inch in Hainggyigyun, (0.24) inch in Yangon (Botahtaung) and (0.19) inch in Coco Island.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th November 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
