SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah, Mon States and (3°C) above November average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha, (9°C) each in Mongyang and Tiddim and (11°C) each in Putao and Loilin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.73) inches in Kawthaung, (1.15) inches in Mudon, (0.79) inch each in Kawkareik and Myawaddy, (0.71) inch in Thaton and (0.55) inch in Dawei.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 09th November 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
