SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and (3°C) above November average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (8°C) in Hakha, (10°C) in Tongzan, (11°C) in Mongyang and (12°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.35) inches in Kyaukpyu, (1.14) inches in Coco Island, (0.86) inch in Ngathaichaung, (0.55) inch in Taunggyi and (0.51) inch each in Yangon(Mayangon) and Kyonpyaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd November 2023: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay,Taninthayi Regions and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as thunder, lightning, hail and isolated rain may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States.
