SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Naypyitaw and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.96) inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), (2.91) inches in Naypyitaw(Zeyarthiri), (2.87) inches in Tatkon, (2.48) inches in Kawthaung, (2.20) inches in Phaungbyin, (1.34) inches each in Yamethin and Pauktaw, (1.26) inches in Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri) and (1.22) inches in Naypyitaw(Dekkhinathiri).
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
