BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal still persist. It is likely to move West- Northwestwards and may across North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal Coasts(India) during next (24) hours. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
