BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northeast Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal now lies over North Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next (36)hours there after it may reach to North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal Coasts, India.Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Sourthern Shan, Kayan States, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady ,Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
