BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Cell over Deltaic Areas of Myanmar now lie over Rakhine coast of Myanmar and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal still persists . It is likely continue to move North-Northwest wards and it may further intensify into a Low Pressure Area over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal during next (24)hrs.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 29th September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, , Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Magway, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
