BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 07th September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of  isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate Monsoon.
