BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
