BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move Northwestwards.Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 18th August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.
