BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to Strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
