BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 06th August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Strong monsoon.
