BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha and West Bengal Coasts, India still persists. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 31st July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be sacttered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan, Rakhine States. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40-45) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
