BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal Coasts, India still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, sacttered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
