BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the West Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal and off North Andhra Pradesh-South Odisha Coasts (India). It may further intensity into a depression around (26.7.2023) and is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Andhra Pradesh-South Odisha Coasts (India). Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Typhoon “Doksuri” over the Phillippine Sea is likely to move Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be sacttered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region and Mon State. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate n Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coast.
