SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Rakhine, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (6.77) inches in Madaya, (5.18) inches in Wundwin, (4.61) inches in Pyinoolwin (Zeepingyi), (3.54) inches in Ngathaichaung, (2.72) inches in Kyeikdon, (2.63) inches in Hkamti, (1.87) inches in Patheingyi, (1.73) inches in Coco Island and (1.61) inches in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Typhoon “Doksuri” over the Phillippine Sea is likely to move Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be sacttered in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate n Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coast.
