SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Naypyitaw and Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.17) inches in Kawthaung, (3.07) inches in Hlaingbwe, (2.40) inches in Bogale, (2.16) inches Phyarpon, (2.05) inches in Manaung, (1.69) inches in Labutta, (1.61) inches in Mawlamyinekyun, (1.50) inches in Ngaputaw and (1.18) inches each in Heho and Hlegu.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Odisha-North Andhrapradesh, India and adjoining Northwest and Westcentral Bay of Bengal has weaken. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Bago Regions and Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
