BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Odisha-North Andhrapradesh, India and adjoining Northwest and Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and will cross South Odisha-North Andhrapradesh Coasts, India during next (36) hours. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30- 35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
