SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.70) inches in Mogoke, (2.87) inches in Hkamti, (1.57) inches in Moemate, (1.54) inches in Kunlong, (1.46) inches in Ran Bree, (1.40) inches in Ngapudaw, (1.34) inches each in Kungyangon and Payathonesu and (1.30) inches in Yangon(Botahtaung).
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
