SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Southern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.55) inches in Taungdwingyi, (3.27) inches in Hkamti, (2.63) inches in Taunggu, (2.52) inches in Mogaung, (2.40) inches in Thabaung, (2.36) inches in Putao, (2.19) inches in Phyu, (2.08) inches in Hmawbi, (1.65) inches each in Myitkyina, Meiktila and Kangyidaunt and (1.57) inches in Wundwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
