SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Yangon Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.23) inches in Shwebo, (4.17) inches in Kanbalu, (3.74) inches in Mogoke, (3.03) inches in Mawlaik, (2.83) inches in Putao, (2.36) inches in Kani, (2.32) inches in Thabeikkyin, (2.16) inches each in Lashio and Manaung, (2.12) inches in Loikaw and (2.04) inches in Htilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
