BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and outh Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 10th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
