SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay Region and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.10) inches in Bogale, (2.28) inches in Putao, (2.17) inches in Hkamti, (1.57) inches in Tamu, (1.54) inches in Hainggyigyun, (1.42) inches in Sittwe, (1.18) inches each in Minesat and Maungdaw and (1.10) inches in Ngapudaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 09th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
